As part of the National Public Service Transformation Agenda, Government is currently engaged in a large number of public sector Information and Communication Technology (ICT) initiatives under fastforward, the National ICT Strategy. These e-Government initiatives, as they are commonly known, will help facilitate meaningful changes into the way the Government does business in Trinidad and Tobago ensuring that all our citizens have multiple sources of access to information and services.
To ensure that these initiatives are successful, we must continuously engage not only the public, but also those leaders and decision makers who influence process and policy in order that they advocate and encourage the change. To further this aspect, the Public Service Academy hosted an Executive Knowledge Transfer Workshop for Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Conference Centre, Fiesta Plaza, MovieTowne on Wednesday June 03, 2009.
